Who runs this site
publicspeakingskills.net operates these pages and owns the choices about data on them. Questions about data can go to hello@publicspeakingskills.net.
Measurement, nothing personal
You can read every page without signing up, and we never ask who you are. To understand how the page is used, a script records: the page address, the referring site, scroll depth, taps on app buttons (and where on the page they sit), browser language, operating system and a random ID saved in your browser. The skill ratings you tick stay in your browser and are not sent anywhere. Your IP address gives a rough country or city and is not stored whole.
Where the data goes
Events travel first to this site's own server, then to an analytics provider that keeps data on servers in the European Union. We use the numbers only to improve the page. We do not sell them or hand them to advertisers.
Browser storage
This site uses no cookies. It saves a random ID and a short-lived session ID (it renews after 30 idle minutes) in your browser's storage. Delete them any time in your browser settings; blocking the script changes nothing about how the page works.
App store links
Buttons for the Confidently app pass through /try-free on this site, which reads your browser's user agent and forwards you to Google Play on Android or to the App Store otherwise. For Google Play it adds which button you pressed. It keeps no record. The store's and the app's own privacy notices cover everything after that.
Requests
Email us to have data tied to your random ID removed. Clearing this site's storage in your browser also cuts the link at once.
